Job Opening: Yard Worker
Location: Bismarck, ND
Pay: $20/hour

Front Street Millwork & Lumber is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and safety-focused Yard Worker to join our growing team. In this role, you'll pull orders and assist with local deliveries of high-quality building materials while enjoying a consistent weekday schedule—and the backing of an employee-owned company that puts people first.

We’ve proudly served the Bismarck–Mandan area for over 27 years, providing premium lumber, millwork, cabinetry, and finish trims to contractors and homeowners alike.

Responsibilities:

• Safely load and unload building materials from delivery trucks.

• Assist with driving routes and making on-time, courteous deliveries to customers.

• Perform heavy lifting and handle materials with care.

• Keep the yard clean, organized, and safe.

• Operate forklifts and other equipment (training available).

• Conduct routine checks on vehicles and equipment, report maintenance needs.

• Collaborate with team members to complete yard and delivery tasks efficiently.

• Provide excellent customer service both in the yard and on job sites.

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Experience in a lumber yard, or construction field preferred.
• Forklift experience or willingness to be trained and certified.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
