Yard Foreman

Job Opening: Yard Foreman
Location: Washburn, ND
Pay: $18–$25/hour (Depending on Experience)
Schedule: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM (Subject to change)

For over 40 years, Wagon Wheel Lumber has proudly served Washburn and the surrounding communities as a full-service, employee-owned lumber and hardware company. We provide top-quality building materials, windows, doors, cabinetry, decking, and more for new construction, additions, and remodels.

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Yard Foreman to help lead day-to-day operations in our lumber yard. If you enjoy working outdoors, leading a team, and supporting construction professionals and DIYers alike, this is the role for you!

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily yard operations, including loading/unloading, inventory management, and customer service
  • Lead and train yard staff
  • Operate forklifts and other equipment safely
  • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of the yard
  • Coordinate deliveries and assist customers as needed

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a lumber yard or construction-related field preferred
  • Leadership or supervisory experience a plus
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Forklift experience (certification preferred, but we can train)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
